Surface Preparation
Prep is the job.
A coating doesn't bond to dust, laitance, sealers, or paint. It bonds to clean, mechanically profiled concrete. Everything we install starts here.

Diamond grinding
We use planetary grinders with diamond tooling to remove old coatings, glues, sealers, and the top layer of weak concrete. The goal is a uniform, profiled surface that the coating system can mechanically lock into.
Shot blasting
For larger commercial slabs or aggressive profiles, shot blasting throws steel media at the floor and recovers it in the same pass. The result is a deeper, more aggressive profile suited to heavy-build systems.
Crack and joint repair
Cracks get chased out, cleaned, and filled. Control joints get treated based on the system spec and how you want the finish to read. None of this happens after the coating goes down, it happens before.
Moisture and contamination
We assess slab moisture and surface contamination before quoting. If the slab needs a moisture mitigation primer or extra remediation, we tell you up front, not after the floor is already failing.
